First Stops
We are in Iceland...amazing. We are so tired though. Being home for three days was pretty hectic, but super fun also. We had a wedding the day after we flew in, a labor day party on Monday, time with family, and then one day to run a billion errands and pack our stuff. We definitely were down to the wire as far as the preparations went, and on Tuesday night went to bed so late that we had only about an hour and a half "nap" before we had to wake up and leave for our flight at 2:30am. Our first flight was about 5 hours and we dozed in and out of sleep until we landed in Boston to meet up with our good friends, Scotty, Annie and Heidi during our 8 hour layover there. They toured us around the city and we ate some yummy food, then hopped on another five hour flight to Iceland. We realized that in the past week, we have switched back and forth between time zones 5 times already and will do it again the day after tomorrow...we are beyond jet lagged. Today we sleep walked around Reykjavik and napped in our hostel. It is stunningly beautiful here. Tomorrow we are going to rent a car and drive around to some of the geysers, waterfalls and national parks, then visit the blue lagoon in the evening. We´re so excited!! Anyway, we are here safe and are excited to begin this second leg. We miss all of our family and friends already! We´ll post more soon!
